Porto v Chelsea
Celtic v AC Milan PSV Eindhoven v Arsenal Lille v Manchester United Roma v Lyon Barcelona v Liverpool Real Madrid v Bayern Munich Inter Milan v Valencia (Ties to be played on 21/22 February and 6/7 March) There are some exciting-looking ties in there. Chelsea will, of course, annihilate Porto, but I don't fancy ManUre's chances against Lille. |

Barcelona Vs. Liverpool looks to be one of the better matches, PSV vs. Arsenal and Real Madrid vs. Bayern Munchen

Real Madrid v Bayern Munich
and Roma v Lyon By far the most exciting looking. In my eyes anyway, and I'm from America, so what do I know? |

Course the REAL Euro football news is Spurs being drawn against Feyenoord, one of the hardest teams in the Uefa, and if we win THAT we have Parma (probably). Damn. Mind you if wed lost last night we'dve got Sevilla the holders. If youre gonna win youve got to beat the best teams.

Sadly Feyenoord's been pretty much crap most of this season. And the previous two seasons they were mostly relying on goals from Kuyt and Kalou, who now have left for Liverpool and Chelsea... Spurs are definitely favourites... The current Feyenoord team is pretty poor compared to the team that won the Uefa Cup in 2002. They still have the same fighting spirit though, so who knows what could happen. That is, when UEFA doesn't take them out of competition for the misbehaviour of their "supporters" in Nancy last month. |

I only wish I had more chances to watch Feyenoord and other Dutch clubs more often. Fox Soccer Channel, which is essential if you follow soccer in the States, is obsessed with showing EPL, Ligue 1, and AC Milan matches. Saturdays feature ONE Bundesliga game, and the occasional Argentine League match. I should add, watching the Argentine games can be very entertaining.

The only dutch teams that can be playing really good sometimes are PSV and AZ at the moment. But AZ is a pretty small club and PSV often choose for the score-one-goal-and-then-keep-it-locked-at-the-back approach in European games which is seen to often in CL games nowadays... I wouldn't mind seeing some of the South American leagues, but they're not showing those here.

I assume we've got a larger number of ex pats from Argentina.
The Mexican league can be fun at times too. Thank you Telemundo! |
