harvey milk - special wishes "troubleman limited", 2006 a very cool metal album that draws as much from folk music as it does from say, the Melvins. The first three tracks are standard Harvey Milk affairs but the rest goes on to draw influences from a whole host of genres. Very good musicianship, very good songs, just a great album. Harvey Milk released an album this year called 'Life... The Best Game In Town', you should check that out after you've listened to this. It's maybe better actually. Recommended if you like the Melvins mixing their metal sound with other genres. Download... http://rapidshare.com/files/13182749...-MCNO.rar.html |

can someone please explain to me what makes harvey milk so great?
like the new 2008 album, everybody is wanking off to it, i listened to it and it sounds like some band playing their idea of cheesy metal, and not even playing with much dextrity or humour to make it entertaining. it sounds dull and boring, just like special wishes. other than courtesy and good will towards men, which is really amazing, i don't see why people love harvey milk so much. |
