Megaupload has been shut down.
I am not sure this is the right place to post this, but it's music related. Mediafire next? |

That was a blow.
"Copyright control"... How else could I have found a way to watch John Sayles' Brother, Robert Downey Sr's work... These were not allowed a release in your supermarket... Grrrr Filesonic still active, but not on my favourite site - they'll find a way I guess. Dimeadozen popped up soon after the demise of EasyTree. |

It does raise some questions:
- Who needs SOPA & PIPA when current laws already gave the FBI the means to take down a site whose servers are located in New Zealand? - Does this mean everybody in the world is supposed to obey US copyright laws or risk getting arrested in their own country? It's not like they have a shortage of prisoners in the US... - And finally, with the demise of megaupload, how's poor Will.I.Am going to send his files across the globe? UPS!!? |
