...caught David Lynch's commentary on the NBC 2-hour "Viva Las Vegas" Elvis special last night?
He popped-up, I don't know, something like 6-8 times and did the talking head-and-shoulders thing. Paul McCartney doing "Heartbreak Hotel" on Bill Black's original acoustic bass was the other rather outstanding highlight. "David Lynch & Elvis" ... yeah that might've worked better. Maybe...maybe not.

No TV. Sounds cool, though.

I'm sure there's an NBC affiliate in San Francisco. If you currently have a television there, take a coaxial cable (if you have one) and shear off one end to expose the copper and then suspend that towards a window or up a wall. You'll get NBC, I'm fairly certain. Necessity is the mother of invention.
Just a helpful hint. I hope that didn't come off as a reprimand, because that would make me seem ridiculous. I lived throughout most of my twenties without owning or even looking at a television all that much. |

I actually wish I had a television sometimes instead of the free-form idiocy of the internet. Alas, my flatmate's a prick about bills.
