New Oval is absolutely TERRIBLE. One of the worst albums I've ever heard.

It's a bunch of random sounds, as usual, with real improvised drumming over top. It's a mess. Bad.

new julian lynch sounds nice.
i like it very much. Quote:
i dont really like it tbh. its deffo a great produced album, but for me its too technical, and to minimal. i like more ruff and simple house/techno. this is too new shool. i have no idea why he called it chicago. has no tune on it that has the 'chicago sound' you should try and get the virgo album on rush hour. thats some oldschool shit. havent heard it myself but should be bangin! |

I am honestly way behind on new music, but I just picked up the new US Girls and am really digging it.
Ariel Pink, the Fall and Crazy Dreams Band are my faves right now.

Indestructible:
Naked on the Vague - Heaps of Nothing Geneva Jacuzzi - Lamaze Clockcleaner's Sharkey has a new project (Puerto Rico Flowers). Trendy bass-driven synth? Sincere? He croons "Tell me, is my child dying..." instead of threatening to set your girlfriend's pussy on fire. I'm in the air. |

syrfox, if you wouldn't mind making a decent list of some awesome 2010 electronic releases, I would be grateful. I'm really into acid, minimal techno (like the Field), d'n'b, and jungle more than anything else.. not really into electronic music with vocals almost ever, especially anything with rap.
