I really enjoyed The Science Of Sleep and got totally lost in it's Parisian nether/dreamworld... I'll have to see Eternal Sunshine again to decide which one I like the best.

Governor Spitzer's whore's "Girl Gone Wild" tape surfaces
I love how they call her an "escort" and not a prostitute on CNN.

If you haven't yet, watch "I'm a Cyborg but That's ok", one of the "dreamier" and most beautifully shot movies I've ever seen.
korean with italian subtitles ha ha. no idea about international distribution.

I agree, ESS was better. SOS had cool effects and was visually entertaining, and the story did have something to it, it could have been great, but I think the lead charactors did a bad job at portraying anything close to real emotions. |

Anybody else see this? What did you think? Was it a Pollock or no? To be quite honest, as much as I want to say it is, I feel like it's not. The worst thing her forensic friend could have done imo is place samples of this next to a similar painting by Pollock. He was trying to show how similar they were - and they were some what similar obviously, otherwise there would be no controversy at all. But there were consistant differences in each respective sample to actually be used to prove that it wasn't a Pollock. Not to say that that means it wasn't, but it was a mistake to use that in their defense. |

if any of you pricksters find themselves in the proximity of washington d.c., i'd strongly suggest you take a detour & go see the film exhibit at the hirshhorn museum. lots of great video installations. some brilliant shit. some meh stuff too but tastes vary. anyway if you love film it's worth your time. it will take a few hours to patiently sit through all.

Godard - One + One
Found it a bit boring, maybe because of hearing the same unfinished song over and over again

On TV: Enemy at the gates (Stalingrad in France)
Terrible war film, only interesting for Rachel Weisz.
