Talking of flashy flamboyance, see my latest piece of gear... the Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water...
Lazy design passed off as industrial aesthetic aside and contrary to piss poor design however, it sounds fokern sublime on synth pads transforming any cheesy chord progression into something tangible and emotional. |

One day, back in the day I went Nightclubing because I was a prick, blacked out and danced to Wham on tables. One of those moments where you are conquering the world one alco-pop and line of ket at a time. You want it all and the world is within your grasp but you somehow end up in the back of a riot van being interrogated by the fuzz after subsequent beratings by middle-aged Karens' drunk on cheap wine intent on interrupting arguments with your girlfriend.
What follows is said story documented by a cheap and nasty bedroom piece of junk masquerading as music: https://soundcloud.com/turnbull-ac/nightclubbing |

Got my first dose of Moderna vaccine yesterday and stayed up all night recording four songs I've been working on for a while. All with Squier VM Bass VI in the lead role. It has been ten months since my carpal tunnel and ulnar tunnel surgeries, couldn't play for the longest time with severe muscle atrophy. My hand is finally getting close to as strong as it used to be, though still a way to go yet. Still working on learning recording techniques.

Not my band, but I supported the project of a friend of mine. I provided my lyrics and vocals on her recent digital single.
She's currently working on an album where instead of a regular bass guitar, she uses an upright bass for all of her compositions. I'm thrilled to see how it turns out, when it's finished. I might work with her again on another song concept we're currently trying to figure out. As for the lyrics and vocal delivery, I was inspired by Dark/Cabaret Jazz, Beat poetry and the real life horrors of a global pandemic. If you wanna support her, you can do that here |

This is a very cool song. It sounds to me a bit like an acoustic Oiseaux Tempete, especially with the spoken word vocals.

About The Bassenger. There's this other song she has on YouTube which I really like a lot. One of the better Corona songs I've heard. Well, I didn't hear a lot, but still
The Bassenger: Irgendwann In other news, Savages band Comets Ov Cupid have been rather active on YouTube lately: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=comets+ov+cupid&sp=EgIIBA%253 D%253D and some more that will premiere in the coming weeks

Thank you! For some reason, I saw your response only just now, over a year later. We have decided to work on a mutual project now, btw. We'll be practicing soon. |

"Irgendwann" is absolutely amazing. I'd say it's become one of her signature songs. I treasure that project a lot. She has many songs in her repertoire that are very personal, visceral and moving. And the live performances are haunting. |

So, for the first time in ages I released a solo-track again. It's a piece I had conceived of over a year ago. And two days ago, I toyed around a bit with FL studio and actually found a sound I was quite fond of. It's a floating, watery dirge of sorts with drony, looping synths and reverb-laden vocals à la Suicide. A few shoegazy hints in there too. It's an early, lo-fi rendition, but I'm planning on doing alternate versions of this - quite possibly with The Bassenger. Quite happy with how it turned out. You can listen to it on YouTube and if you want to support my music, you can purchase the track on Bandcamp. |

Alternate take of the song I released a month ago. Gloomier und bass(ish)-heavier, but also more melodic. It's very faithful to my initial vision of the track. Kind of proud of it.
