I would also suggest Rob try out Black Cobra.
I am pretty sure they will "do it" for you. Excellent live as well. |

If things are so bad, whinging won't help. I disagree, there are bands that play aggressive, rock out, and blah blah blah. The biggest threat to music today is the amount of bored, opinionated for nothing fuckwits who poison everything and open their mouths before they've even listened to a band. Like somebody once posted on another forum, I am looking forward to everybody hating everything.

Add to that list: The Hunches (they rock etc) Wooden Shjips (hypnotic, yet melodic, psychedelic rock. Sometimes sound a bit like Suicide and Loop) Thomas Function ( Not really my cup of tea, I like a couple of songs by them, but if you like They Might Be Giants there is some sort of vague affinity with them in the songwriting) Mutators (They're no more, but they should appeal if you like Teenage Jesus and The Jerks. Crazy singer etc) Times New Viking Twin Stumps ( I have only heard what's on their myspace, really worth checking out) Nice Face (at times sound like a more ''accessible'' version of TV Ghost) Eat Skull ( last album should appeal to you Rob, trust me) Also worth a listen: Wet Hair, Pink Reason, Vivian Girls, Circuit Des Yeux, Foot Village, Guinea Worms. None of those bands beat Drunkdriver, though. |
