No premiership this weekend. Do internationals count towards this?

It would have if we had made a fantasy league for that.
(they still indirectly count as players can excel or get injured in internationals, influencing their premier league fantasy value as well) |

How will the internationals react?
What will the crowd do when Carson's shot at, and so on? Answers tomorrow, on the pitch. |

So last week I got more than 100 points, and it makes me feel kinda sick.
I won't have 5 players playing two games the way I did with my Villa and Rovers team this week though. Arsenal and Newcastle play twice. But how interesting is Newcastle? I dumped both players I had last month - the coach didn't use them as much as he should (as far as Milner is concerned, that is). Keep in mind that there's a game that hasn't been played yet. It was supposed to be included in GW2, and it's West Ham vs Liverpool (or vice versa). So if you don't know who to transfer in the future, think about these teams carefully, the player you pick might play twice for you. But I don't know when. |

Ive turfed out Carvalho cos he keeps getting injured, i put in a Pompey defender i think - So i have 3 pompey defenders in total, therefore if they get stuffed so do i.
Maybe i could give Harry a ring, see if he can fix something up for me? Edit - Ive added Gareth Bale, just to keep my spurs Quota at is deserved level

when i checked on your team last week i thought "daaaammmmmn!". i was wondering if you had it all thought out long in advance to have 3 players of each aston villa and blackburn in order to score extra points with their double games or whether it was coincidence. if it's the first then i congratulate you. i only bought agbonlahor as an extra next to laursen who i already had. wasn't a bad buy though. this afternoon i was still busy adjusting/transferring my team when it reached the 12:30 deadline. oh well, at least i still had time to buy one arsenal player and make him captain. |

It had been on my mind since gameweek 2, when I saw that I would have to make one transfer in order to get 11 players whose teams played that day. Whenever I had to transfer a new player afterwards, I checked Villa, Blackburn, Newcastle and Arsenal (letting West Ham and Liverpool aside, the latter too expensive, its turn over making it too unpredictable). It was quite a bet, and it worked too well to be fair. I couldn't make my mind when I picked my captain yesterday and nearly apologized by nominating a one-match guy. But regrets won't last. More reasons to be afraid of rodents in the following weeks... Eh eh eh... |

So Bertrand, are you going to stick to the five-defenders-and-one-goalkeeper-each-from-different-teams technique this week?
Now that I was less than 80 points away from you, plus hopefully steady in 2nd place (and also because it's almost christmas) I've allowed myself the luxury of some extra transfers. I had to revise my team anyway, plus I can no longer allow myself to lose money on players or to have my bench players be crap ones. I'll also have to free up funds because I'm poor. All that costs me 8 points this gameweek and I want to get rid of more. I've been thinking about trying to compensate that by temporarily getting Ronaldo or Lampard in my team, but I'm really not so sure about them performing in the big games this weekend. Grrr, when Arsenal had their double game week I managed to have three Arsenal players in my team with ALL of them injured. |

Dear pokkeherrie, do you happen to have French blood in your veins ?
You're a nice fellow and you know you'll feel sorry for teasing a sick man, don't you ? You're gonna lose points on that, thinking you did something wrong, and unwillingly selecting the wrong player... Last week's unfruitful 5-3-2 option I had was only due to the suspension of a midfielder who's gonna score thrice this afternoon, and the injury of a guy whose name will be given to a football stadium in your hometown. My latest moves didn't give me much satisfaction. Ronaldo I brought on just to show off I could afford him and create panic actions among the contenders (but sonicl is really cool-minded it has probably not worked on him and Danny hasn't budged an inch from the beginning), I don't like the Portugese diver as much as the players he replaced, I'm already trying to choose the proper day to kick him and one of my forwards out in favor of a more balanced mid-forward couple (and bring back a former team member to create the illusion of a real team too). Bravo for your second seat (and the 50 points gap behind you). But I'd say bravo to anyone still enjoying the party our Priest invited us to. |
