NB Hevusa has elected not to be on the compilation, which is a shame as his piece was probably the single most original piece of guitar-based music I think I've ever heard. Oh, and the volumes! God, they'd break your heart, I tell you.

No it doesn't. The original deadline was the end of January. I can't seriously commit the amount of time this'll need until about the middle of February, and I suspect Herr Death is the same.

If the comp isn't going to be mastered I'd like to submit a speaker blowing piece for "artistic" reasons. Put it right after a quiet track. That would either be "true art" or it would illustrate why mastering is necessary for compilations.
