on soulseek they have the whole album as live songs/the 2 leaked songs. If that makes sense. Lots of people have it.

"If Pavement's Brighten the Corners were coming out soon, I had to wait till release day to hear it. I would record a set of songs that I would want the Pavement album to sound like. Some of those songs ended up becoming Atlas Sound and Deerhunter songs years later."

Still, This Lp sounds really good, much better than anything else they've ever recorded. Will listen to it again now.

I honestly hope they're able to keep it under wraps until the leak. The anticipation from their fan base over a stupid leak is too annoying. I can understand being excited, but christ, just wait for the fucking release date when you can hear the thing in good quality in full and not a crappy transcode or something.

i;m hoping for a christmas eve leak.

still, since they've made it this far... this has to be considered a victory, right?

i mean, release is less than 3 weeks away...US listening parties start on the 1st, and there are "download cards" distributed at these things, supposedly. so, I'd say Jan 1st is likely when this all blows up, if it hasn't yet by then.
