can there be anything more redundant in 20fuckin10 than the achingly self concious irony of people who listen to crap indie and play the game of being a hipster by disavowing it? didn't think so. can there be anyone that is fooled by this move, creating the false impression of a sense of individuality by its lack of appearance because you just make a list of references to things that are shit/too indie. oh please yes. more of this please. the endless regurgitation of hipsterrunoff/vice magazine "humour" which is basically pretending to be a nihilist that needs an endless stream of the right commodity accessories. that "knows" that it's all crap really, nevertheless tries to buoy up their own stupid hedonic positivity because of this with dated 90's cynicism humour. i'm sorry but when it comes down to it i would just rob you.

you listen to shit music. people that don't like it aren't trying to be "underground" as some sort of a pose. you are the one playing those games. this music is utter crap so deal with it, or do whatever. i do not care. i do not care enough to defend my own taste or denigrate yours any further.

I'm also wondering why some of the posters on this thread are complaining about the lack of a music discussion on here, when a quick run through their posts shows a continuous mantra of ''the best'', ''the worst'', ''my favourite'', ''I don't like it'' etc. Not exactly fertile ground for interesting music discussion.
