IT started out seeming cool enough (sonic youth style guitars, some decent kim vocals, what's not to like right?) then that first song wound up being incredibly repetitive not to mention six minutes of repetition. Then almost everything else was just kind of not clicking at all for me... I can't really pinpoint where this album goes wrong but it does.

Yeah ok, I get what your'e saying now. LIke the grass just looks kind of poorly added in.
And the inside flap is only worse.... almost comical... they get all satanic... and the results are laughable. Their photoshop version of hell is quite the subject of making fun.

I really don't mind the new Free Kitten so much. It has a fair amount of decent tracks, they're not all necessarily zingers but I'm sure they're all highly capable of growing on listeners (especially those who post on SY forums).
I'm going to wait before I judge Inherit; it's interesting, disjointed and may surprise me in the long run. If there's anything Free Kitten should not be rated on, it's accessibility. PS: 'Bananas' is great. |

WHo has J. Mascis come on their album to play drums!? XD that made me laugh when I saw that on the inside. Surf's up benefited from his guitar work though.
