Listened to Stained Glass last night.
I have no idea what to say, it sort of came out of nowhere. |

Yeah, the last two albums weren't too hot. This ep rules though.

I like Coyote a lot more than Blue Lambency Downward.
Dowsing is my favourite though. |

Yep, Coyote's way better than Blue, imo. And Dowsing's my favorite too.
Either way, one of my all time favorite bands, glad to see this little thread turn into something much bigger... |

I have a friend who is just like you. Dowsing is his fav, BLD the weakest in his opinion.
Myself, the one i don't like that much (after Coyote) is Dowsing. 1. BLD 2. Choir of the Eye 3. split with Bloody Panda 4. Dowsing 5. Coyote |

to be honest, I think this new ep is probably my second favorite release. If this is the direction they're going on, I am excited.

I've thoroughly enjoyed everything Kayo Dot has done, there's been no real weak point as far as I'm concerned (...though I've never listened to the Bloody Panda split)
to have a stretch of releasing Choirs of the Eye... Dowsing... BLD...Coyote, the latter two I personally hold in the same esteem as the initial two, and now this gorgeous EP, adds up to a pretty fantastic run of great musical output. |

I heard Stained Glass for the first time today, can't say much 'cause there's a lot going on on it, but it's definitely a beautiful piece.

Last time they played where I live it was in an age restricted venue so I couldn't go. I wasn't too bothered about it though considering most of the band was held up by borders and the show essentially became a Tartar Lamb gig.

My copy of Stained Glass came today. I love the lyrics, and I can't really say that for many of their songs.
