I used to use some stompboxes, but I got sick of tap-dancing, connectivity issues, and before I got a powered pedalboard, buying batteries.
Now I have a DigiTech RP500 multieffects unit that has all the effect I used before, plus some new ones I've wanted but couldn't get because of space issues on the board...

New board, layout, setup (not pictured is Alesis Microverb, as it is a rack effect)

My favorite pedal company now has its own forums, and I'm an admin there.
If anyone would like to sign up, that'd be really cool www.ehx.com/forums |

I got me an old and cheap DOD -preamp / multieffect. That and my fuzz pedal combined provides me an assfuck of a fuzz tone for the headphones.

great! i'd have to agree although i don't really prefer there most recent direction in those newish compact looking pedals that are in the same type of case, i actually probably one of the few that like there older bigger casings, they look really cool. a number of my pedals are electro harmonix for the price and sound most of the time they beat out boss, danelectro, digitech, dod, line6... etc. |

Messy pic of pedal board. I think I'm going to have to get a bigger one to accommodate the DEM

so i pulled one out of the dust and grime today, my first or second effects pedal i ever got, this was about 15 years ago from a kid that gave it to me because he wasn't using it and thoguht it was crap at the time (and so did I!) and now its considered a long lost relic that rivals many analog delays of the 80's era liek the Boss DM-2, Ibanez AD-9... etc etc.
I'm talking about the Arion SAD-1 Stereo Analog Delay, nice to find some renewed pleasure and use for it after many years tucked away in storage. weird how alot of Arion units were cheap budget knockoffs of their time and then reach admired status of today, i think the Delay may be the only one of the Arion's that is sought after due to its obsolete bucket brigade components giving it its clean warm tone. |

i'm thinking of getting one or two of those behringer analog delays, because of the self-oscillation they produce when cranked up.

How much does a MXR Carbon Copy go for in the used market in your country (ies)?

me curiuz. I want to get an analog delay pedal, that's the one which seems most consistent among "modern" ones..to me...if you have suggestions, I'd be interested. I need a quite "long" delay capability, 300-330ms like older Bosses is not enuff.

I have this: It was $99 and, though, not stellar, it sounds good and gets the job done.

Most recent purchase was this:
Insane sawtooth fuzz. It sounds like the end of the world.

I saw that some time ago. If I were into buying stuff I don't need (for me, distortion is spelled M-A-R-S-H-A-L-L), I so would've gotten one for the name/design alone...

There are a lot of "boutique pedals" with amazing names and look. Yeah!

This is the most fantastic effect that I have in my gear. It's a custom built and modified Boss PS2 pitchshifter/delay and I bought it a while ago from a dude called Spunkytoofers (easy to catch up on youtube, etc). It's simply amazing! Can do lots of weird shit live, creates glitches, shift pitches, rythmic cut-ups, twisted delay, even has sort of an internal loop processor ... takes a while to learn how to fiddle around with it, but it's a real blast once you get used to it. 1. rhythmic cutups 2. tonal and synth 3. pitch modification 4. sample section 5. randomizer 6. LFO 7. wet signal monitoring -14 toggle switches: cut up row, sample and hold row, tonal row, and synth row. use singlely or in combination for flexibilty in sound sculputing and rhythmic breakups. -1 two way switch: locked or momentary positions that activates extended range pitch knob. -1 overall extended range pitch knob: from abstractly low to extremely high pitched -2 body contacts: responsive touch control of pitch -1 sub mini switch: activates light theremin. -1 light theremin control cell: cells are picked for best articulation and control over pitch and sound. -1 switch- loop sample hold. activates sample without pitch control.. momentary or locked -1 stomp switch: activates pitch control knob and sample hold -1 vintage pilot lens: the lens shines a bright red light though the lens whenever a sample loop is activated by user -3 momentary pushbuttons: one low random play back, one high random play back, one cutup random playback with no pitch variant. -2 knobs: left knob pulls up to activate the low frequency oscillator. left knob turns to adjust oscillator's rate. right knob adjust oscillator's depth -1 lfo indicator light: new stock vintage dialco soft glow red led with housing to indicate depth and rate of oscillator when lfo is activated. -1 knob: controls the wet signal into the headphone jack -1 headphone jack: inputs wet signal monitoring through headphones before sending overall mix into wet effected delay, pitch shifting, and all modified sounds.
