My mom threw away my first pair about 3 years ago after about 4 years of wear. they were the original black/white thread. I had sharpie the white sides green, people had wrote on the laces, at one time they had "SY" on toes, with one letter on each toe, latter just painted black. They were close to as trashed as my black/blue. The right current shoe has a one-inch hole ShoeGooed together right now.

This would have been about 8 months ago. The hole is three times as big and the toes are now charcoal gray from dirt/shows/beer. Also the fabric on the insoles is gone except for the heel area in both of them.

It's not often that you see them. I've actually never seen someone wearing another pair, but I do see kellygreen/with matching laces all the time like my other high tops.

Eh, fuck, it's 1am and tomorrow is holiday travel day. Time to fall asleep watching Fletch.
