yeah it was made to look like itunes and like i said it's still a very early version, but it already does more than itunes and it doesn't need 10 programs running in the background for it to work.

there's a couple of good gpl software, most notably mozilla's songbird, the "firefox of media players", wich will eventually be very big.
it's still a very early version so it lacks some features and improvements like last.fm support, perfect ipod support and crap like that, but that should be solved with next version that just went out for rc a couple of days ago.

personally i don't use it yet, but i highly recommend it.

what was wrong with it? i just want it to play music from a hard drive without the intrusion of windows media. my polysics mp3s just disappeared (???) and i wonder in windows media exercised its god-given rights to purge whatever it deems pirated. fuckers!

1)What type of dog food do you prefer? My dog (shes about 1 1/2 years old brindle boxer american bulldog. very athletic, and listens to great music. If you are interested, she is single and ready to mingle, and I could put in a good word) will eat pretty much anything, but i can never tell if she enjoys it or not. I like good food, but i dont want to feed her the food i eat because it isnt healthy for dogs.

2) will firefly ever come back on the air/will they ever make a sequel to serenity?

3) what do you think would have happened if jimi hendrix and syd barett were introduced to each other and collaborated together? Would they be unable to produce anything because of music differences? If they were able to work successfully together, what do you think it would sound like?

4) Who is a better song writer/composer Donald Fagan of Steely Dan or Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys.
