I don't think there's any. Which is a shame, as the number of females on this board is quite high, really, for an band forum - a good thing.

jenn benningfield and nefeli should sign up. emmah could do a good punk tape i reckon, and i'm sure lux could pull something out of the bad if she so chose.

cantankerous and truncated need to get their arses in gear and find a tape player.

God Damn...I'll never get that fucking boom box to work. It just fucks up tapes when you try.

If anybody wants to take part but can't record tapes, then you can do a 60 or 90 minute CD, some cassette-sized artwork and send that to me & I'll transfer to tape.

And definitely one from EMMAh please.

Emmah would be a Canadian addition too, besides needing females, it should also be more global. Alyasa, some Aussies, etc.

Basically, you make a tape with whatever you want, excluding Sonic Youth because we all listen to them anyway, you send the tape to Pookie in England, and then he randomly sends them to the other people who took part. So your tape could come from various parts around the globe, and yours goes to some mystery location too.

After you recieve the tape you post a review here.

Send a PM Pookies way and he will explain.

Some stuff from Brazil that some of us may have never heard would be very welcome. At least from this poster.
