so basically, there's a holy stain demo up on youtube from a guy on shortscale, a clip on hcfx as well. It sounds decent. The only thing which sucks is that it can't go entirely clean.
I'm passing this, I think. |

well, it's easy to tell.
i have two pedals (spoke about them in a different thread). both are replicas, made by a local guy, who also built me an amp. -Naudio Muffhoney (EH Big Muff Pi copy with low frequencies boost) -Naudio Sonic Fuzz (exact 60's Univox Superfuzz schematic copy, the orange one) i use them both on bass. you could tell which bands inspired my bass sound just from the names of my effects, don't you? asking for pictures?

So far my only effect pedal. seems that at low volumes it's pretty useless as it fucks up the sound so that you can't distinguish the notes. Apparently it's capable of very shitty doom / stoner -ish fuzz.

The main reason I want the Ekko 600 though is the art. The LED being a death ray from a robot is genius.

I sold those two boss pedals I got for $50 each for $120 each on ebay to get the B:ASSMASTER!
Also reordered the Behringer Vibrato since I gave mine to a friend for his birthday...it really is a great pedal for $30 Also ended up with a Behringer Slow Motion...haven't use it much yet though. |

The Malekko Barker ASSMASTER is inspired by the original Maestro Bass Brassmaster octave pedal. Hand-built by us, this modern version delivers the same octave overdrive/harmonic generation effect in a quiet, fully controllable pedal. It features a recessed LED indicator, a pop-free true bypass switch, and a tough lexan face. The 5 controls provide complete control over the tone, overtones, harmonics and mix of the dry and wet signal. The pedal is powered by a 9v DC adaptor (neg tip) or internal battery snap. The ass volume controls the volume of the effected signal The ass switch selects the tone of the ass The bass volume is the un-effected signal control; also provides massive gain to the dry signal Harm selects the harmonic spectrum of the effect Sensitivity controls the depth and response of the effect from subtle to excessively saturated I like how they added flowers under the sensitivity writing...nice touch. |
