Rockwell is amazing, he just wasn't very impressive in this film.

Really? I thought he did a good job as a smarmy asshole who you want to get punched in the face. I actually think the changes they made on him from the comics were some wise moves.... Makes him and Stark seem a lot more like natural enemies. Did you stay after the credits? ~Jeremy~

That's what I was expecting, so instead of catching the midnight showing I just went to see Kick-Ass again. The patrons in waiting probably didn't care much for my parting comment of "Who the fuck would care to see Iron Man after that?" |

Yea, the post-credit bit I was expecting, I was awaiting a reference to another franchise. If Edward Norton was returning as The Incredible Hulk, they surely would have used him somehow.
Inception does look pretty kick ass. You can't go wrong with Christopher Nolan. ~Jeremy~

The Informers - and I fucking loved it. Like all of the Ellis' adaptations.

the imaginarium of docter parasldkfjlaskdjf
it was a trip. i like heath ledger. it was fun to think of all the symbolism/metephors. i will probably watch it again. ALSO. it was nice to see a bigger box office movie with a sexy red head in it rather than a nerdy gross one.

5/10 Falls into the enjoyably bad category although some of the fighting was decent. Hilariously bad dubbing. |

I'm on a bad C-grade 80s movie kick this week. Add on Sleepaway Camp 3, Savage Streets, Class of Nuke'em High.
In queue: Bad Biology, Night Patrol, The Crying Game, Trick 'r Treat, Pan's Labyrinth, and Snatch

6/10. It looked great but It was missing something. Hard to say exactly what but I found it a bit of a slog to get through, not quite tedious, and too much reliant upon the quite limited emotional range of Verne Troyer. I know they had to do a pretty severe rewrite seeing as homeslice died before filming any of the "morror interior" scenes. Gilliam managed to make a movie out of it, but any in-depth exploration of the WEIRD shit in this movie, which Gilliam is usually very good at, seemed to have ended up on the cutting room floor. I watched it all but I did not enjoy the ride.
