anyone heard the band SOAP?
They have a few really insane albums, it's kinda weird like riot grrl stuff that has all these electronic and surf parts thrown in as well at times. Kinda like if OOIOO did riot grrl. Also, the band Demi Semi Quaver, which are one of the stranger Japanese bands, up there with Space Streakings and Omoide Hatoba. They go from straight-up rocking to... uh... Space Streakings- and Omoide Hatoba-ish stuff.. the vocalist was the female vocalist on RUINS' masterwork "symphonica". |
