Clarity is a great album. Another band degraded simply by its pop standings. Definitely one of my favorites.

Talent-wise, they're nothing special at all (and I've seen video of them comfortably admitting it, which I find admirable). And their song structures are as basic as can be. Their niche is lyrics and atmosphere. Also, they have a suprising repertoire of all kinds of musical influeces, which are very evident with them in mind.

And Jim's voice is almost impossible to mimic. There's some ungraspable quality to it - an amazing range that can break and scratch on demand, or remain smooth just as easily.

Pizzicato Five- Playboy & Playgirl (so so so annoying)

He was saying that (DDN was a crappy album) except for Providence, though. Everyneurotic claims that it is the best song on DDN. too bad Sonic Youth weren't able to go forward in time &nab all of Jimmy Eat World's and Avril Lavigne's songs before they were recorded, eh?

A punctuation error and two missing words are not that awful for this board.

well he used an unnecessary interjection followed by a pronoun (that's) that relates to something that cannot be "providence" since he used "except for".

your post doesnt make sense either.

wasnt saying that to be a dick, dont take it too personally. its just I didnt know what you were trying to communicate, you made it sound like his favorite song was anything except for providence. do you really think this has to do with just puncuation? it has nothing to do with puncuation, it is just above me how akwardly you chose to state that

There isn't a single record i own that i could say i hate as such.There are a few that i ignore though,like castigated possesions for not having done the job properly.
