I can probably match you for having a limited diet. For weeks I've had for breakfast: muesli (the one thing that I won't buy cheaply, it needs to have lots of fruit/nuts in it) then for main meal: jacket potatoes (microwaved for 6 minutes to soften, then cut into large wedges and fried) and salmon. No variation at all (I used to have salad but it’s a pain buying it just for myself because there’s too much waste). It keeps me alive, which is the important thing.
The good thing about muesli is it doesn't matter if that main meal is at midnight or something, I don't get hungry during the day at all. Quote:
I know what you mean, this usually puts me off talking about food at all. Probably why my diet is so limited is that I can't bear thinking about food, 'just have anything!'-attitude. However I do think salmon is very good for you, my parents live off it and look very young and energetic for people in their mid-50s and they're near-alcoholics too. |

i eat everything except turnip (swede) its vile and disgusting...
and shellfish including prawn / crab etc because i cant. i have a very severe allergy to em, developed over the last 10 years, it kills me because shellfish without a shadow of a doubt is my favourite food ever... cockles, scallpos, mussels, whelks, all that shit.... my biggest regret, i never tasted lobster and now probably wont ever!!!!! |

smoking plus hating fruit= you have to live on the food from the earth. I already posted above, ABSOLUTELY EAT 6-7 WHOLE PIECES OF FRESH FRUIT EVERY SINGLE DAY. ABSOLUTELY DRINK 2 LITERS OF WATER PER DAY. you need these things to survive as much as yr car needs gas to drive. just like your car will eventually run out of gas, if you do need eat enough whole food, you will die of terrifying diseases and afflictions. but you dont eat fruit to spare death, quite the opposite. EAT FRUIT BECAUSE IT GIVES LIFE. the more fruit you eat a day, the more alive you will actually feel.

Fruit's good stuff. Vegetables too. I'm eating Boca burgers a bit these days, which substitute for red-meat burgers for me, and pack in some veggies.
I like raw celery and carrots. I like peaches, strawberries, and apples. I try to get some veggies and fruit in me every day. When I eat them, I feel a lot less craving for junk food. Not that I even have any junk food around any more. I try to include a salad at dinner. Let's see, what else do I eat? Ground turkey breast--great substitute for ground beef. About 99 percent lean. Just use it in anything you'd otherwise use burger for, like spaghetti, tacos, chili, and of course, burgers. I eat a fair amount of seafood--mostly salmon, talapia, some shrimp, some lobster, crab legs occasionally. I eat chicken once in a while, but only grilled skinless breasts. I think tonight I'm making simple tacos with ground turkey. I eat scrambled eggs for breakfast almost every morning, because they keep me full through the morning. I sometimes put them in a veggie wrap, and sometimes add salsa. For snacks, I'll eat a fiber bar.

Yeah, when you eat all those eggs, do you find it hard to lay your own eggs?

Um, no, I didn't even know this could be a problem. Maybe my fruit and veggie intake counteracts this.

i hate vegetables on their own except potatoes. it's fine if they're in something, like soup. and i absolutely just cannot eat any kind of fruit except for grapes (and apples if i wasn't allergic to them).
oh and fish is just fucking gross.
