Finished Dracula and also started/finished Of Mice and Men in about 2 hours today.
I'm thinking The Doom that Came to Sarnath and Other Stories next.

I am so fussy with books.. the time needed to sit down and read it is constantly played against how much Im currently enjoying it. Its continual calculations going on in my brain and so a lot of the time it seems not worthwhile and I end up putting the book down unless it is awesome.

I read all but 80 pages of Ulysses in about a month and a half, then lost the desire to read for 3 months and only read about 10 pages of it, then I started reading it again and finished in two days. It's the fall weather that's got me reading, I can sit outside for 4 or 5 hours and read non-stop.

oh when I start on a book I'm enjoying, it stays with me constantly and I'll read for hours. I'll be at the mall shopping with my partner litterally reading as we walk and he has to stear me around things or go back and get me if I accidentally stop walking.
Reading at bed time is bad for me too... I dont get tired, I'll just read until its 4am.. and not realise.

The only thing that saves me from that is that I cannot read in my room, only or otherwise. I physically can't read in my room. Anywhere else is fair game.

If you haven't read Brave new world yet I'd highly recommend it.

I read Brave New World in 2 days and im a glacially slow reader, so go for that.
Alternate suggestion would be Day of The Triffids, the original monster movie

Finished the Holmes. Will be re-starting the Divine Comedy tomorrow and will read it until I can pick up some more Holmes stories. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it.
