i think anyone who knows a great detail about NIRVANA and K.C isnt going to be happy with the amount of detail the film goes into.
I know i want to see small scenes recreated such as interviews/photo shoots or little stories in the bio like kurt and his dad hunting for the rat. Its interesting with the release of Walk Hard, reviews have said that hollywood wont be able to do the cliche bio pic anymore because of how well Walk Hard parodys them..so it makes me wonder if we will get a typical Bio Pic or something interesting like Im Not There.

i dont think someone needs a insane life to have an interesting story
there are plenty of films about simple familys going through everyday issues that turn out to be great movies the squid and the whale is about a disfunctional family and yada yada...kurts life had a lot more in it than the family in that movie. I it just depends on how well its written/directed/acted

Some new news to do with a cobain sort of film
this isnt the film that i have been discussing previously in this thread rosty @ collider.com did an interview with Brett Morgen who just finished a documentary about the Chicago Democratic convention of 1968. The interview reveals that Brett's next project is a "mixed media animated documentary" about Kurt Cobain which has been sanctioned by Courtney Love and will include previously unseen material. It is expected that the film will be ready in 3-4 years. It’s sort of like…yeah. It’s more than that. It’s all of Kurt’s artifacts and archives and journals and yeah we’ll have the music of course but the…his home movies. He did stop action animation, which I don’t know if anyone’s ever seen but I saw it and it’s fucking great. I mean it was crude and I’m gonna probably refine it, you know, in a way, I mean some of his stuff was out of focus or whatever—like unintentionally out of focus but we’re going to make a film as if Kurt Cobain was making his autobiography and so and one of the things about using animation in it is that at first I was like oh, man all the, you know, it was the worst time for archival films because from like ’83 to ’92 video sucked. [...] The reason Kurt still resonates all over the world—you go anywhere all over this planet and you’ll find kids who are like have Kurt tattooed on their arms. It’s because he spoke—he was able to articulate his experiences as an alienated, disenfranchised kid and that’s why I think his music is still relevant today and resonates all over the world and I think we have to make the film that’s in every one of those kid’s heads that represents them. And obviously it’s another heavily traveled subject—well mythologized and you’ve got to look at something like that and go, well if you’re gonna do something on that subject that a lot of people are familiar with you gotta do something different and new and add something to the cannon of work and so I think what this film will do is really get inside Kurt’s head and sort of see the world from the inside out. "

ok so its got Joe Anderson (my pick for kurt) he is a moody rock star type character the movie is called The 27 Club but no, its nothing to do with Cobain and its ruined any chance of getting Joe Anderson for a Cobain Bio pic isnt it funny though that on the Joe Anderson msg boards/ Cobain forums a lot of people wanted him for Cobain http://www.the27clubmovie.com/
