White T-shirt (Hanes), dark Levis 511s, blue Converse low-tops.

I haven't worn a plain white tee as an outer garment since the 1970s. I like how it looks with dark jeans.

Just ordered this from Eddie Bauer. The jacket. Whadya think?

I was sitting in a restaurant the other night in a lightweight polo and started to feel chilled, and it hit me--I don't have an everyday jacket. Something that's not as cumbersome as a blazer. Something I can take anywhere, that's light enough for warm weather but heavy enough when it gets cooler. I've wanted a good windbreaker-type jacket for years and have never quite found what I wanted. Then I saw this. Classic Chino Jacket. Yes!

Thanks. What I like about it, too, is there's no ugly company insignia on the front (or anywhere visible). It's like a Ralph Lauren polo chino jacket without the silly pony, so it's got that sort of generic everyman look but with some decent quality to it.
