Inspired by Cantanky I watched Christiane F. (no need for comments), then I watched Dark City, a couple of pretty good ideas for a pretty bad movie.
Fargo (beside being a great flick) had one of the most genius films' posters ever:

i saw 2 movies these past couple of days:
this was great, the script was great, the actors were excellent, kim basinger was hmmmmmmm wow, but yes, great movie, i've been wanting to see it forever and somehow finally i had a chance. 2) nice! i was impressed, a bit jealous even, wonderfully low-budget, neorrealism for white middle class hipsters ("oh look! it's just like my life"will say some boardies), but very original, entertaining, and just good! i wish i could care a little more for the characters, but even if i don't completely i still like this movie--good story, funny, subtle, good show. |

L.A Confidential is a good movie. Guy Pearce plays Andy Warhol in Factory Girl too. Which he does a fantastic job at.

Apocalypto...pretty entertaining...though the second half was a bit cliche compared to the amazing beginning...

It was fantastic. I'm obsessed with Edie Sedgwick now.

Saw this great movie "Dogfight" last weekend, staring River Pheonix and Lily Taylor.

took my son to see Transformers. it was filled with eye rolling moments for me, however he was sure it was "the coolest movie" he's ever seen.
(kid needs exposure) despite the plot set to shock and awe 11 year olds, I couldn't help but think that the special effect robots would have been really cool if they had made a movie out of Macross instead. (Star Blazers would be too much to ask for) I'd buy that for a dollar. |

YES macross >> transformers all the way. (additionally, i heard that bumblebee was now a mustang, because of GM product placement bucks.) though i'd rather have another captain harlock saga. but i digress. |
