I never really thougtht it was that great either. I can't believe it won that rather ripped survivor thread a while back. The vocal melody always reminded me of Radical Adults. Which is a much better song to my ears. |

he loves yr mother. he sticks it in yr mother's cunt. he makes her wetter than she has been in 20 years. he makes her pucker her asshole and stick her own finger in it.

"Dripping dream? are you feeling ok? that's not even close to the best song on Nurse. Now had you mentioned "Stones" I would have thought you had some idea.
I'm also taking into consideration live performances of songs from all 3 albums. I've seen the last 3 tours (including a rare performance of D. dream) and "Pink steam" gets the nod as the best song. It just builds and builds a momentum that is pure quality. Rather Ripped = Rather Brilliant. |

Rather Ripped is easily the best and most developed work they've done since Goo.
I do like Sonic Nurse too, but its kind of like they were they were trying to find their feet again after a few mediocre albums. I don't hate Murray St., but as a long time fan (if I can say that, being here from Sister onwards - apologies to the serious old heads for not being born earlier) RR is an absolute return to form. To dismiss it as an "easy" pop album is kind of missing the point, I think. |

This was a hard call for me. I think of Murray Street and Sonic Nurse as being on the same level of excellent records. However, Rather Ripped did Rather Little for me.

When i first got Nurse it was my favourite album bar none, ever. But since then i think i've retreated a bit from it and now i like Murray Street the best.
