So many ppl rave about EVENT HORIZON. I've seen it several times, and always my conclusion is: shitty movie with one super incredible scene.
For fun, I'd much rather watch JASON X. |

I love sci fi and any variation on it, from sci fi comedy (hitchikers guide) to sci fi horror (event horizon). that is why I liked it. It reminded me of some of the better sci fi horror short stories I have read.

I thought WICKER MAN was a bit of a letdown, after all I had heard about it over the years. But. Yeah, the last scene is crazy. And that dancing naked girl is hilarious.

wicker man's crazy, the ending was totally unexpected.
And yeah event horizon kinda sucks. Suspiria's a masterpiece, didn't find it scary in the least though. |

I am generally more terrified by drams grounded in reality, fiction is not so frightening to me.

SUSPIRIA is great, but my favorite Argento of the dozen or so I've seen is definitely OPERA. |

You must not have seen many movies then or you just simply don't, uh, "get", Japanese films.
I'm not even a big fan of that movie, so I don't know why I'm defending it. It's certainly not a stupid film, though -- or, rather, it's not made for stupid people. Maybe that's the problem. |
