YES! There isn't a track on there that I hate. Very consistent.

I'm not a huge drill and bass fan (or specifically, drill and bass without melodies)... and there are too many songs of beatless (or beats-only) exercises on Go Plastic. I do like Boneville Occident and Greenways Trajectory but I never found Plastic to be anything that special. Almost no memorable melodies and almost no jazziness... that's probably why it doesn't stick out for me.

No melodies?
So "I'm gonna fuck you with my red hot cock" is monotonous, yeah? |

Tommib, even...
No melodies there, either. Nope. |

Note the word memorable in my first post. No memorable melodies.
Also, it's "I'm gonna fuck you with my red hot car." not "cock". And what does monotony have to do with anything I said? Tommib is an ambient interlude without any beats and doesn't really flow with the rest of the album. Just saying. It's only a minute and 19 seconds long! That's one little blip on a 49 minute album! Just because you love a record and I don't, that doesn't mean that my points are invalid. There are no memorable melodies on the record. |

Chill man, I dunno about Zeropumpkins but I was just being sarcastic. It's cool if we all have different opinions... this life would be pretty boring if we all had the same ones, no?

Ok I take it back. I'm liking it a lot. Definitely different from a lot of his other stuff while still having the Squarepusher sound. This might turn out to be my favourite work by him.

Listening to SHOBALEADER ONE, a new ep with the song called "Cryptic Motion", which might be his best song in years. Super loud funky bass, almost dubsteppy drums, robot vocals, and super weird synths. It's weird as hell! And funky as fuck.
Mr. Oizo remixes the song for track 2. I geuss he has a new full length real soon. |

That's one thing about Squarepusher: He is more diverse than most electronic artists. He isn't content with doing the same thing on every song/album, and even changes styles wildly between songs on the same album. He's an extremely talented bass player, and his synth melodies are some of the best in the game, he has proven time and again that he's an AMAZING producer and drum programmer, though those elements are usually underplayed on all except his most popular songs.
The problem is that his albums almost always lack consistency; it's rare that all his strengths come together and create something truly perfect, like "Hello Meow". Anyway, I do really like this song, reminds me of the Kid Chameleon soundtrack. |

I saw Squarepusher live once. Fucking awful. And I'd say that, k-hole or not.
The problem I have with his records is that they just reek of wanker. He could make the best record ever and I'd still not like it on the basis that he's clearly a prick.

The last link you posted fucking sounds like Daft Punk. I can't believe you don't hear that. It makes Squarepusher seem like a lame gimmick.
