Hmmmm, all time I'd have to say Bad Brains because Earl's drumming has been such a huge influence on me......plus it would rule.

It also would be epic as hell to play with Khanate, Sunn O))), or Asva......fuck.

Probably either Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth or Flaming Lips. I would make the FLips go back to their early-mid 90's guitar noise-pop state or at least push them to try something other than the synth pop shit they've been up to for way too long. Yoshimi was cool, and Soft Bulletin had some good stuff, but AWWTM really killed it. They need to try something nerw and stop catering to their braindead, hop-on-the-bandwagon fans who dont like the bands earlier work. Those people can go fuck themselves.

hahaha, yeah sure, you are going to tell the flaming lips "ok, i know i'm the new guy but from now on, we're only playing transmissions from the satellite heart live and we'll record an album just like that." if wayne coyne asked you to play along to a britney spears album and learn it, you would do it more than happy. wayne coyne can ask you to stick a guitar up your asshole and you wouldn't even hesitate to do so.

I know a chap in London (Archway) who's been into McGowan's local a few times. He's just like most semi-rich drunks in London, apparently.

I think this is what it comes down to. I don't really care about the onstage thing, though that would probably be a great time as well.

I mean I wouldn't want to play with Sonic Youth or anything like that, or hang out with them. Seems a bit boring. The audience, especially.
