I envy you, you'll get some good laughs listening to trapattoni's press conferences.

Same feeling here, regarding the videos.
If anyone wants to learn French, don't imitate Ribéry, he's a grammatical disaster. Hope for Ireland Trapattoni speaks slowlier than Toni, or else... Lovely shirts (England's second especially). |

So today the friendly game is over and automatic substitution has applied.
Results are a draw at the top, and, well, here it is : 1. bolanarede (jico.) 36 1. Ball in the Heather (nicfit) 36 3. Allontoic Parasites (A Thousand Threads) 34 4. eurofauxhemians fc (PAULYBEE2656) 28 5. Bulldogs (atari2600) 27 6. Andersonville (Bertrand) 27 7. Tchernobyl Boys (HECKLER SPRAY) 25 8. Glasgow Enculouz (a friend of mine) 13 9. Obiku FC (pokkeherrie) 7 No draw between Bulldogs and Andersonville as I transfered more than Bulldogs. Hence, for consistency, Bulldogs are ahead. As for the real thing, here's what we have today, alphabetically listed : Ball in the Heather (nicfit) eurofauxhemians fc (PAULYBEE2656) George Best's Liver (Bertrand) Glasgow Enculouz 2 (guest from outside the board) Los niños del parque (o o o) Obiku FC (pokkeherrie) Tchernobyl Boys (HECKLER SPRAY) That is only 7 teams. It could be better. When I hear 7 and link it to music, it makes me think of 7 and the Ragged Tiger. By Duran Duran. Do you want this board to be tarnished? No? Then join us! I expect this reasoning to be quite efficient. Girls didn't start a team. How sad. |

He was AMAZING during the last world cup... too bad for the team, and I'm sorry for him too, even if he's not one of my fav player he's definitely a great element... I hope our forwards will score loads of goals to overcome the defence difficulties...
Not to brag about my national team, but our midfielders/forward are really good this year. The field might prove I'm wrong, but their potential is really really impressive imho. We've never been much lucky with great defenders (see the poor nesta, always injured during important tournaments).

Italian defense is ALWAYS solid as a rock, especially during the cups ( and the final World Cups...), don't worry.

So we're eight now !
Ball in the Heather (nicfit) Bulldogs FC (Atari 2600) eurofauxhemians fc (PAULYBEE2656) George Best's Liver (Bertrand) Glasgow Enculouz 2 (guest from outside the board) Los niños del parque (o o o) Obiku FC (pokkeherrie) Tchernobyl Boys (HECKLER SPRAY) And there are some uncertainties regarding one of my forwards. Minor or serious injury? Will he be apt for the first game? Is it real, is it meant to trouble other nations? And will I have to change the line up to make huge bets right from the start? |

You mean Villa? I'm wondering about him too.... but I haven't made a team yet (used auto-complete again). I'll start thinking about that now or i'll end up with 7 points again after the first match day!
BTW, thanks for giving the French formation. I could try and give you the Dutch one if you like, but there are still some mysteries that I'm not even sure of whether Van Basten himself knows what he's going to do about those. My biggest dilemma right now is if I should include players from group C or avoid them. |

Yes, Villa's the guy.
As for group C, I'm confused myself. But I nearly came to the opposite conclusion, as all will need to get out of there. I may try to pack a lot of them for the last game and drop players from safe teams then. |
