The Soft Bulletin, I really dont understand that one. Or the way people love The Flaming Lips in general.

also, i bought a Cat Power album the other day (you are free) and while its not exactly thought of as classic Cat Power is thought of as pretty good (even Lee said so)
but it was pretty bland. except maybe 2 songs it was pretty dull |

I've found that a lot of Matador stuff that's thought of as good is bland. That album was a favorite of mine when it first came out, and I think I'd still probably cry if I heard "I don't blame you", but yeah it is kind of mediocre. |

I hate every album that ever came out, especially the ones that you love the most.

We All Die 4. Ice Water 5. Bathysphere 6. American Flag 7. Metal Heart 8. Cross Bones Style 9. I Don't Blame You 10. Free 11. Speak For Me We all know that Steve Shelley and Tim Foljahn play on her first two records [Dear Sir and Myra Lee], right? |

Beatles
Bob Dylan Flaming Lips Chemical Brothers Swedish band Kent (more like "cunt" to me) Also back in the days i held a deep indifference towards british bands blur and oasis. How these two bands wound up in some sort of mutual dislike towards each other was even more profoundly incomprehensible. How can you call something shit when you're shit epitomized yourself? The list goes on

I can't really get into the Beach Boys either. I like them, but only for about 5 minutes at a time. |

Dummy by Portishead, although i havent tried listening to it in quite a long time.
Sebadoh III, a "classic" indie rock album. I bought the reissue more than 5 years ago and ive still never been able to get beyond 8 or 9 songs in a row without wanting to listen to someone else. Im not sure theres ever been an album ive paid full price for and listened to so little. Actually if someone in the London area wants to buy that off me do let me know.
