I mean, I'd love to, I just don't care. And it's a long-winded process. And while a few people would appreciate it, I just don't care. I'm sure you're a nice enough chap and all, I just can't be fucked. At all.
Having said that, that's the project 'in general'. If I ever have cause to digitise bits of it, I'll let you know.

The October 19, 1988 peel session is still one of my alltime favorites.

Flying Saucer Attack - Peel Session 5th April 1996
The first time I heard Flying Saucer Attack was sometime in the early nineties. It was a seven inch single called "Wish" and I think it was the second release by the Bristol noise maniacs. The first album was initially released on vinyl only and really impressed my although I remember wondering if it would appeal to anyone else. Obviously there was nothing to worry about because the record sold out in no time at all. It was re-released probably about a year later on CD bearing the slogan "compact discs are a major cause of the breakdown of society" which is a perfectly agreeable concept. I do believe that records with a lot of noise in them sound much better on vinyl. Actually just about everything sounds better on vinyl but I'm not getting into that argument again. If your new to the sound of Bristol's kings of distortion and like what you hear here the first singles compilation "Distance" is probably the best place to start. This is the second Flying Saucer Attack Peel Session. The first was recorded and broadcast in 1994 and if anyone has a copy of this recording please get in touch. nah, thanks but I'm really not much in to punk rock... I was only taking an easy shot to imply that Glice was a racist.
(I know that Peel session was from before they turned into Nazis). |

I was always more of a C18 man really. Skrewdriver were a bit mainstream for my tastes.

Appliance recorded five Peel Sessions. I always believed you could tell which bands Peel favoured the most by the number of sessions they recorded for his show.

Appliance! They were really nice fellas. Saw them a few times. I think the younger guitarist still plays, but I can't remember in which band. I remember enjoying them at the time, but that was a good 10 years ago.
