i used to wear chucks, but they have no heel support and just aggrivated my back, i like the look of my reebok running shoes, very simple and not over the top like a lot of those type of shoes

I don't quite get the anti-uggs movement. Everyone I know acts like they're the equivalent of wearing a raccoon cap. They're not interesting enough to garner all that hate.

I don't not like Uggs because it's a movement, I just think they're ugly and that they're not practical.
Trust me, if I liked them at all I would buy some and wear them everyday. My Docs do me just fine though.

That's how I feel about those plastic shoes. Ugly as shit, but they're so fucking comfortable, I almost want a pair.
EDIT: Crocs. |

I wonder if gmku remembers those Sperry that only came in the medium brownish tan color and had the thick white soles. Those were cool; I forget the name of the model.
Oh, and Stan Smith Adidas are still out there; or they were until fairly recently. Tough to beat a pair Doc Martens though. I'll probably buy some new ones for winter soon. I know I should be flogged for this, but I currently have a pair of Columbia Stone Cliff IIs. When I went to Seattle recently, my friend who has been getting into mountain climbing traded me my Timberlands for a new pair of Nikes because I needed new tennis shoes. They're Nike Shox Junga IIs and are exceedingly comfortable...moreso than Etonic, Footjoy, or Rockport even. (Those Camper Bros. do look comfortable). I'm so glad he gave them to me because I would ordinarily be morally opposed to purchasing a pair of Nikes. So, I'm sporting those often; people seem to compliment them a good deal, so go figure. |

And when they get old and worn, it's like a whole new shoe.

Depends. I have a pair of 8.5 that fit snug and a pair of 7s that are way too big.
We should borrow some off. |
