My mother raised me a bit on grits. She's originally from Ohio. It's nothing so bad but nothing I miss. Flavored grits are good for camping.

The waitress replied "grits are .50". "Yes, but what ARE they?". "Grits are extra". "Yes... I'll have the grits please"

grits in the us seem to be what plum pudding is in the uk. nobody knows what it is exactly

you dry them, and grin them up like corn meal and then slow cook them like a porridge/oatmeal

I wasnt inside, but I will check that out. I hope they will got some more US-Snacks you wouldnt get inside germany.
its horrible, I really love unhealthy food, but the german law when it comes to food is as hard as it can get, nowhere in europe you can get that small selection of candy, and other sweets, cause they all fail the tests.
