Yeah, when I wrote that I remembered that he joined Zwan too. I just think it's odd for him not to be able to make a fairly decent living because of his past reputation as a musician, then again Arial M bombed badly. His success peaked with that project at the time Mogwai started getting popular and talked about him in interviews often. After that and dying interest in post rock he seemed kind of less ''fashionable'' a musician outside the hardcore fans.
