I liked the stuff she did as Stella Rico. I mean, I'm not going to say she hasn't done anything musically I don't enjoy...there just isn't much of it. She just falls short in the artistic department for me.

Yeah, I totally get that... I'm her biggest defender on here and I still wouldn't put most of her Teenage Jesus stuff on my ipod. It's mainly her personal coolness and her affiliation with cool artistic groups that makes me so intrigued by her.

How was she put on her ass there? She tried to criticize that guy's act and he flared up and yelled at her until she backed off... She definitely wasn't embarrassed, she stayed calm throughout the whole exchange. I guess it wasn't a success for her since she barely got any words out, but she definitely came across as the bigger person to me.

How so? She was rude by engaging in a conversation she didn't belong in. Sorta like preaching the word of god in public schools...it's just awful.

She didn't deserve to get any words in. Why she was even there is beyond me.

It was exactly like preaching the word of god at a school. HE was preaching and the word of god was his offensive act. Comedians know when they're being offensive, and should have a better defence than to yell down their critics for criticizing them at all. Her goal was to defend the girls that he had been ridiculing, and his goal was to cover his own ass. That's a much more cowardly position to take.

To me it appeared his "act" was over and he was outside conversing w/ some friends/fans/etc. If she had an issue w/ his act, perhaps she shouldn't have been there. I mean, it's not like she's changing anything or making a difference. Comedy at it's best is usually offensive.

Someone should defend the boys she ridicules (actually, I do it all the time).
