tonight i essentially called in sick to all my friends.
wanna go to the conservatory and watch sock arms? nahhhhh i'm sick. can i come over because i don't wanna go home? nahhhhhh i'm sick. wanna go smoke hookah at isis? nahhhhhh i'm sick. you'd think i'd just say i don't want to do anything instead of make shit up? tomorrow i'll go work out, go out to brunch, maybe go buy some floor mats for my car and a scrub brush, clean the bathtub, boss floatingslowly around. knowing me, i'll end up at the hilo with my bff tomorrow night... which means sleep in sunday, make grocery list for floating, type 9 sleep studies, go to gym and then make a meal for the fam. then i'll do my mileage and lie around. |

Question: Should I turst a Goodwill purchase on a phone? I just ordered phone service to add to my cable account--I'm tired of relying on my shitty cell phone service.
Or should I go for broke and get something at Target?

Really? Wow, see, I haven't bought one in a while. Might as well just do that. I don't need a portable in my small apartment anyway.

Yeah, they're not going to be the best, but they're not much. Unless you want one of the old cradle style that weigh 5 pounds.

Oh, boy, phone shopping at Target! Woo hoo! Maybe I'll top it all off with a purchase of burnt popcorn from the deli!

Yard work. Perhaps some of the requested "more creative" sex if I'm lucky (and creative...)

well thanks!
yeah they are so kickass! YOU SAW THEM IN 2006!!! See unlike a lot of final tours, their's would be really REALLY good. The Woods was incredible and judging from videos and pictures i've seen from that year, it looks like they were having a great time and tearing it apart live. sleater-kinney, apart from pavement mabye, is probably one of the top shows that i wish i could have seen.

my first show was a sleater-kinney gig in 1999 for the Hot Rock tour, it was pure magic. That album is one of the greatest albums ever recorded.. The 2005/2006 final run was in fact fantastic, those chicks were rocking some balls to the wall rock and roll with no balls to speak of! I was beyond impressed, and even after having gone to reggae shows weekly for the past 5 years I still have seen s-k more than any other single artists or band. I miss their gigs terribly and make a point of it every time i post a comment on Carrie Brownstein's blog, which was a nice place to post before she went nuts on phish and attracted hundreds of new readers, and now there are way to many comments to make it even worth the trouble.. sleater-kinney were great. As much as I would like to see them perform again, they had beyond a good run, and it would just be killing it like the Sabbath renuion(s).. I do wish Carrie would get in a new band though.. and janet weiss is the most fierce yet creative drummer I have ever heard.. I wish I could get her on my next album
