Those Adidas sandals are the stupidest looking shoes I have ever seen, and are usually worn by slack-jawed suburban white kids trying to look "street."
Goddamn those are hideous. If young men wore housecoats and hot rollers, these would be the logical shoe choice to complete the trifecta of humiliation. Awful. |

but of course they are hideous, they are SHOWER shoes for fucks sakes
fuckers who wear them in the street should be shot in the ass however in the shower or by a pool are great & prevent foot fungus. they also drain water nicely due to the knobby insole. walking around in them as if they were street shoes is like wearing exposed underpants with shitstains on them. i think so anyway. keep them in the goddamn gym. |

there is no excuse for a man to ever wear sandals. and a man wearing flipflops when he isn't at the beach is asking to kicked in the nuts. and girls who wear flip flops not at the beach are skating on thin ice, i.e. only if they are very pretty, have cute feet and extra summery steez can they pull it off.

said the boy in the model pictures there is an area between flipflop and shoe that is covered by leather sandals. but this works only in hot weather, obviously. for cold weather there are shoes and boots. Quote:
im not walking barefoot into a filthy shower gym. maybe you like itchy feet but blech, foot fungus sucks, and doesn't lend itself to good action in bed. spraying chemicals should only be a last resort. |

I'll wear flip-flops to the pool, or those Adidas things !@#$%! posted. I don't care what they look like, they're for the pool - and they're cheap. Other than that I hate sandals or anything like them. I could care less if other people wear them, though. And socks with sandals doesn't bother me like it does most people. I feel obligated to look respectable, I suppose, but why should I care if someone else doesn't, when it doesn't affect me in the least? Minding that stuff is just unnecessary stress, which I'm sure no one needs. Eh, wear whatever you want.

it's not looking at them that makes me aggressive, it's reading their wrong-headed opinions in this thread that makes me want to cut off their feet to teach them the error of their ways. |

The majority of people who dislike the sandal live in England. This is what I have observed. Perhaps the UK demographic of this board has foot appearance issues, maybe the feets are too pale and weird, maybe they have never seen the sun. If thats the case, then don't bash the sandal, because in many cultures that's what everyone wears and nobody thinks twice about it. Flip flops are what I grew up wearing and everyone wears them in Brazil as house shoes and just regular foot wear. It could be that the UK folks don't have the sunny/hot/humid weather factor in their favor. If you had to be me right now, with everyday around 36-38 degrees celsius and humid as a sauna to boot, you might think twice about lacing up those boots and grabbing your favourite pair of trousers. Just a thought.

If it weren't for convention and broken glass I wouldn't actually wear any shoes in the summer.
