I made one recording "direct live mixing" with virtual dj, it is way funnier, it can record directly in mp3 format and it's easy, the only problem is that due to shortage of time i was not that focused and the volumes/tracks' fadings are a bit uneven...here is the tracklist, nothing particularly obscure/unusual, and my sensitive side took over after the fourth track...
1. Calla - Don't hold your breath 2. Psapp - Hi 3. Battles - ipt 2 4. Mark Mothersbraugh - Ping island/Lightning strike rescue op 5. Ben Christophers - The stream 6. Nearly God (Tricky) - Poems 7. Subtle - She 8. The Black Heart Procession - We always knew 9. Zu & Spaceways Inc. - Trash a go-go 10. 65daysofstatic - Install a break in the heart that clunks in arabic it's a 43 minutes non-stop mp3 192kbps, I'll post the link as soon as a friend of mine will have the time tu put it up...still have to dl the ones you guys posted (fu*king 56k)...

lovely idea, this is actually a mix swap thing i can participate in.
making it one big mp3 file is a bit of a hassle, but i'll probably have something up in the weekend. |

you can do this thing in Traktor too, can't you? or, I guess, not straight into mp3 but into wav and subsequently convert it to mp3.

what's that mixmeister thing by the way? is it better for making a mix than a normal sound editor like soundforge or cool edit?

There are many ways of doing it.It's a bit like throwing tracks into a blank canvas from various sources and then mixing them up.

yeah, i installed it for making these mixes, but it is quite annoying in that you a 5 second sound clip of a woman insisting you buy the full version over every track.

I'm finding the variety of music on these mixes really stimulating.Very much what i was expecting. Some tracks i didn't know and some i'm not terribly keen on but good job all of you because all the mixes are filled with more than enough killers.
