Old Offspring isn't bad, just stay away from anything they have done in pretty much the last 10 years. Ignition and Ixney On The Hombre are good IMO.

The White Stripes are HORRIBLE. Usually I can stomach most mainstream bands but there really isn't anything good about that band at all.

I bought all of their records when I was 15. I like everything they've done, except Icky Thump which is terrible in my opinion. They sure have some really good songs

Yeah they pretty much always do the same thing over and over. Except on Get Behind Me Satan - which is rather good in my opinion - and on Icky Thump - which uber sucks
