well alrighty then

I adore Soak when they perform solo, as can be found on youtube in several sessions such as on the Tiny Desk. But their albums where they plays with a full band don't do much for me (sorry). This is the latest (3rd), released a few months ago.
The guitars on it do remind me a bit of Wedding Present though, apparently they were listening a lot to The Bends while recording the album.

However I didn't listen to the album version, but my recording from 2017

and after that, the main act of that evening:
