Yes, 'Burn the Witch' is spectacular, as is 'True Love Waits' (if inferior to the 2001 version). I've also got quite the fond spot for 'Present Tense'. The problem I have is that the rest of it is effectively background music. I am being fully serious here, I've largely tuned out a lot of it and can tell you barely anything about most of the songs. 'Daydreaming' especially irks me, because it's as long as 'Paranoid Android' but nowhere near as interesting. Quote:
Basically you've got your Holy Trinity (Bends, OKC, Kid A), which are beyond amazing. Then, in whatever order you prefer, Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief, In Rainbows. (I'm overly harsh on IR and I really shouldn't be, but the others appeal to me more - they have more impressive experimentation). Then AMSP, Pablo, and TKOL. Quote:
I've been pumping that song too. Quote:

You must spread some fake plastic trees around before giving it to choc e-Claire again. I listened to Amnesiac 3 times in a row this morning. They seriously dont have a bad album...

Isn't that a strictly Jun-Aug album? I can't imagine listening to that in the winter. Unless you're Choc-e-Claire, of course, in which case this is probably the perfect time for it. Still feels wrong, though. Like listening to Darkthrone during a heatwave. |

I totally appreciate the songwriting and performance abilities of Radiohead... but the complete and utter seriousness of their music means that I can only listen in limited doses.

Just start with “The Noise Made by People.” Agree, nothing but good stuff. Impossible to go wrong with Broadcast. |

Moon Shaped Pool doesn’t slap. What. No. It kinda just dangles. Like an over cooked spaghetti noodle. |

Brainbombs - Souvenirs
I love this record. A band that I always feel are a joke lyrically, and not even a funny one at that. Always slicing up women, homeless people, gays or whatever. Sort of like watching a shit Netflix series made for males with masturbation and relationship with women issues. I just finished cleaning up my place, one of my favourite activities, with this record on. It sounds great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cv41-OcVAXM |

If I want an ambient album I'll listen to Eno or SAWII or something. I expect Radiohead to excite me.

I used to be in a band whose one cover was "Janitor." True story. This live version of the tune is probably better than the album version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAQtNyF_TUM |
