I'd just like to say FUCK YOU MOSQUITOS.
I would tell you to bite my ass, but you've done that enough already.

It makes me wonder why the stuff here is even called Guinness. The stuff you get on a good tap here has almost a completely different taste from the bottled shit in the liquor store. If real Ireland Guinness is even more different, we might as well consider American Guinness to be a completely different (inferior) beer.

Well the Bottled shit isn't draught, and if you're going to have Stout without the proper gassy content, then.. good luck
If you're drinking Guinness at home, get the draught cans with the widget inside: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Widget_%28beer%29 Guinness is brewed differently for differen't regions. The stuff they call Guinness in Africa is, an entirely different beast. Bleh marketing/brand names...

I just hate drinking beer out of a can if there are other options. It might just be in my head, but I think it gives it a Smirnoffy aluminum taste. I suppose I should try the draught, though, since I've never gotten it before.

The stream is holding up surprisingly well for my internet connection, they're playing Little Fury Things right now.

I bough a bottle of Brewed Jamaican Ginger Ale today. It was honestly the worst drink I've ever had in my life. It tasted like Jager (that same 'spice' almost licorice taste) if Jager had no alcohol and was filtered 8 times through a fat 8th grader's gym bag.

jager tastes like licorice because it's made with anise seed, which is what licorice is.
i hate licorice.

Reed's Original Ginger Brew was our first creation, and is a Jamaican recipe for homemade ginger ale using 17 grams of fresh ginger root, lemon, lime, honey, fructose, pineapple, herbs and spices. There had to be anise and about 1000 other herbs in there.

It is. I barely even had two sips then I threw it away. The taste was with me for hours, even through gum, food, and other drinks.

pendex, those are not "beers", they are sodas ginger beer is a popular caribbean drink-- in jamaica, trinidad, etc. it's the origin of what you now popularly know as "ginger ale" not ale! not beer! Quote:
