is anybody going to the Venn Festival starting this thursday in Bristol? i really wanted to go on sunday to see Sunburned but i have to work on monday and can't really get out of it so i might try and catch them at Corsica Studios the following sunday

I still don't have a decent external mic, so I'll rely on my faithful edirol's built in mics... actually I sent them an email asking for official taping permission, so we could (if they have enough time to reply) get my first ever aud+sbd recording

I know what you mean. Four years ago they were supporting Lightning Bolt in Amsterdam, while I went to the Rotterdam show instead thinking I'd get to see Sightings another time... If I'd known then that it was going to take them 4 years to get their lazy asses back over here I would've made the effort, surely.
I rarely even listen to them anymore nowadays, but I'm still happy to see them live finally.
