Baroque Primitiva is awesome, I can't stop listening to it. Album of the year this far, along with Natural Snow Buildings. Actually I can't stop listen to the older Alvarius B records either right now. Does anyone know where to find his first solo album (the single disc S/T)? I've searched for it a lot but it seems impossible to find and I don't get soulseek to work. Would be much appreciated if someone knows.

Don't lie. You're either not trying very hard, or what you meant to say is that you're looking for somewhere to download it for free. It's available on CD from most online retailers. http://www.amazon.com/Alvarius-B/dp/...1019652&sr=8-1 |

Actually, I didn't want to say anything, cuz I love file sharing, but I found ALVARIUS B at a local music shop about a montha ago and was sorta surprised, cuz they didn't have ANY other titles by alan/richard/scg.
Anyway s/t is a pretty cool album.. |

It crashes everytime I try to download something. Could be that I have the Mac version and it sucks, but I don't know, whatever it is I don't get Soulseek to work. Believe me, I've tried. Quote:
Well, yeah. But to be honest I didn't even check any online retailers for it since it just felt so, I don't know, unlikely that anyone would still sell an old Alvarius B CD. I mean, SCG records are hard to find, and they would probably sell a lot more than an old Al B record. But anyway, I ordered the CD so everything's fine. And Baroque Primitiva still is addicting as hell. |

Sir Richard Bishop is offering 25 copies of "Funeral Mariachi" in vinyl format at the moment on his facebook page. $30 each plus shipping, sealed, unplayed, and in mint condition. Just thought i'd post a heads-up in case there is someone from here looking for an LP copy of this.

So, this week I gave 330,003 Crossdressers... the first couple of spins and it probably will end up being my favourite SCG record. There's hardly a bad song or a boring moment on the course of its two hours, and I fell in love with a handful of songs instantly. Seriously awesome stuff.

i think i got that along w/ Knucklehead Freefall at the same time, and like KF better. it's definitely solid, though. acoustic playing, some gamelan stuff. you can't go wrong.

another great show by the Brothers.
i did an interview w/ Alan afterwards that I'll be getting to (after the 3200 photos, and extensive interview w/ TFUL282...in other words, it'll take some time).

the sole vid i shot of the BU set.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lncmynsClV8 it's a bit shakey (I only had a photo, not video pass, and didn't want to get on security's bad side) but watch in 720p for best quality.
