Probably Starcraft, although I did play a hell of a lot of Age of Empires.

I have a friend who fucking loves Command and Conquer: Red Alert: Retaliation on Playstation and would always try to get me to play it with him. I couldn't stand the controls and the game just looked and played like shit in general. I like some of those earlier C&C games though, on computer anyway. But if he posted on here, that's what his answer would be.
Can't imagine what Warcraft II: Dark Saga is like to play.

There are only a handful worth playing.
Total Annihilation is supposed to be great, I'll probably try it sometime soon.

I much prefer turn-based strategy, but even then I'd rather play an action game. I'm more of a hands-on kinda gamer.

I'm really lost with the Gualbert-hate posts seems like an ok poster to me. I hope it's just your alter-ego so you can freely attack without hurting anyone's feelings.

No, never even heard of it. Good stuff? Or I'll just look it up. I watched a couple of videos of it. Pretty interesting looking. Kind of has a Conker's Bad Fur Day look. This game reminds me a bit of Brothers In Arms, which had similar shooting/real time tactics mechanics, though I don't think you could manage artillery/air units/etc. like in this. I've always been interested in seeing more of these kinds of strategy games that are less um, omniscient (wish I knew the antonym for that) and a little more at the ground level. I think Company of Heroes explores that some. I'm not sure. But this Battalion Wars, yeah I could play it.
