Hard to explain his smugness but once it hits you... I'd been unsure about him for ages but no. He's a smug cunt with shit taste in pretty much everything. Not quite up there with Robert Elms but then who is?

He is right about the merits of "Genre cinema" though; that just because something is formulaic doesnt mean its somehow crappy. I think music can operate on the same level too
