My fave video games, going back to the atari 2600 system
Megamania This was the first video game where I could BEAT the game. I woud play it for hours. I got the highest score possible, 999,999 or something like that, took a polaroid, sent it into atari and received one of those old patches with the game logo for those who beat the games. anyone remember that? Super Mario Bros. Man I played the SHIT out of this game!!!!!! I coul play it for hours, spending 30 minutes just getting extra lives on that one tall staircase! Legend of Zelda anotrher game I played for hours and hours at a time, beating it twice. once you beat it, it would re shuffle everything and you would ahve to start all over! Super Mario Kart This was the single greatest multi player game of it's day! even girls liked it! so much fucking fun. I got so good at it!

I gave a list in the last thread but I need to add Portal.
I am going through all the advanced puzzles in Portal right now. It's one of the funniest and most twisted games I've ever played.

For sheer amount hours played, I'd say it's either Mike Tyson's Punch Out (NES) or Castlevainina: Circle of The Moon (Gameboy Advance) or Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (PC). I enjoyed Oblivion but deleted it from my harddrive to conserve space last month after backing up my character.

Can't think of a Top 10, I can't order things.
But I would say my two favorite video games are Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Metroid Prime - those two games gave me chills. Also I would include Earthbound, Lylatwars, Super Smash Bros Melee (I spent so much time on that game! it's maybe not one of the 10 best games of all time but it's a big game in my life), Mario Kart 64, Sonic 1. Also, my top 2 dance game ever: 1. Bust A Groove 2. Bust A Groove 2 Those will be in my heart forever. I used to play them as a kid and I'm still nostalgic - I know play them on my computer, and I'm not ashamed of that |

Oh god HOWWW did I forget Toe-Jam & Earl? The greatest, yes the greatest 2 player cooperative game ever made.
Anyone ever played the Wizards and Warriors series of games on the NES? Rare made some excellent games on the nes before they made Donkey Kong Country, like Battletoads, Cobra Triangle, Snake Rattle & Roll and of course Wizards and Warriors. |

Yeah, I played Wizard and Warrior 2 when I was 13, it was one of my favourite games on NES.
The problem was that you were not able to save the game, like most of the games on NES... |
